War on the Poor: The Legacy of Chief Bill Blair, the Press and Canadian Apartheid

Now that it's out in the open
Blair in the press
His future plans spoken;
Like he's a success
A legacy broken
He will egress,
A Liberal token,
Another political chief,
Good grief!
Are Canadians willing to settle for less?

Will we ever tire of the politician cop?
You say Blair will be different!
Come, come, now, stop!
Once a police - never can you swap
Always a police - it's a one stop shop!
Justin Trudeau, Bill Blair
 defend record over
 handling of G20 protest

Blair's predecessor Julian Fantino
Threw temper tantrums,
Like a hungry bambino;
Julian Fantino, a controversial cop
Another Conservative, who's been a big flop
Fantino's behaviour, no stroll in the park
He roughed up our vets
Like on his beat after dark.
Back when he was a brass to the narcs
When Toronto police were circling like sharks
Illegal wiretapping and robbing drug dealers
With Julian Fantino pulling the levers
Ombudsman Andre Marin slams SIU
over pro-police bias in Michael Eligon
caseThree investigators are disciplined
 for wearing police insignia and
offering premature conclusions
 to a TV crew.

Convenient heads stuck in the sand
The political flames, Bill Blair fanned
Police corruption during G20
Civil rights violations reported aplenty
After women were violated by Toronto's Finest
Ontario Liberals, showered Blair with kindness
Do we have to ask how Bill Blair will lead?
His minions made Adam Nobody bleed!

No charges laid in Rob Ford's scandal
Blair's flat feet
Couldn't fit Ford's sandal!
A whitewash, where Blair
Could never hold a candle
Like the Toronto Police Services Board
Can never seem to get a handle;
Similar to Ontario's justice vandals
OIPRD and the SIU,
Two expendable cover up panels
Man wins lawsuit against
Toronto police board after
'carding' incident

Bill Blair's legacy gave Toronto carding
It's not white people cops are bombarding
Nor minority safety, that cops are guarding
It's the role of the villain
Where the press have Blacks starring

Bill Blair's legacy is colonialism
Every Western nation
Is plagued by this schism
Apartheid ideology, has once again risen
Located in the penal system
Of the North American prison;
Economically, socially and psychologically driven
Known to police:
Toronto police stop
and document black
and brown people
 far more than whites

The White Man's Burden
Like the Battle of Verdun
Is a doctrine for certain
To pull the wool over your eyes, like a blackout curtain!

Toronto's carding of visible minorities
Reeks to high heaven of colonial priorities
It fails to seriously address, root cause
By imposing a set, of fake, draconian laws

What came first the chicken or the egg?
In this case the chicken, break us off a leg
Cowardly carding of the law abiding
Came before the truth
The pusillanimous press is hiding
Amid police justifications coinciding
And a lily-livered leadership that isn't even chiding

You either believe in people or you don't
Does Toronto want to elevate people, or is it that they won't?
Toronto's carding regime hysteria
Flies in the face of
Neighbourhood Improvement Area

Pathetic officials say what needs doing
Julian Fantino

To pacify interests they're persistently wooing!
Then suddenly the momentum just stops
And from the news cycle
The story just drops!

It's the city of Toronto
A class action, should start suing
If you're no immediate suspect
The police are pursuing;
Carding is the controversy Toronto's got brewing
We must fight for our rights,
Before another police shooting!
